Holder of a master's degree in philosophy and a graduate of Science Po, Fabrice Amedeo combined journalism, writing and navigation for several years. In 2017, he finished 11th in the Vendée Globe: his first solo, non-stop and unassisted world tour. Since then, the sailor has devoted himself exclusively to his passion: ocean racing. Committed, he then decided to give a new dimension to his adventure by mobilizing for the preservation of the oceans by putting his boat at the service of science: oceanographic sensors to collect data in all the seas of the world are installed on his boat and made available to the international scientific community. He then created an educational notebook to participate in raising children's awareness of ocean protection.
