Gwilherm De Cerval

Gwilherm de Cerval began his career as a sommelier at the Ritz Paris before joining Le Relais Louis XIII and later the Royal Monceau Raffles Paris. Since 2017, he has worked alongside renowned food critic François-Régis Gaudry, serving as the wine columnist for the TV show Très Très Bon on Paris Première and contributing to the acclaimed On Va Déguster book series. In 2019, he received the prestigious Curnonsky Prize for his book Le Petit Livre du Sommelier, and in 2021 he launched Le Petit Quiz du Sommelier, a wine-themed board game. Co-President of the Association for the Preservation of Oeuf Mayonnaise (ASOM), he is also co-founder of its World Championship, helping promote this iconic French culinary classic. He currently hosts the “Recette Payet” segment on France Inter in Manu Payet’s show and is involved in numerous consulting projects across hospitality, restaurants, film, documentaries, and gastronomy.
